The effects of <strong>AMS<\/strong>kick in at altitudes above 2,500 metres, and it can make it difficult for you to summit Aneto.<\/p>\n<h4>What does the refuge have to offer?<\/h4>\n<p>La Renclusa is open all year round. There is space for <strong>92 guests<\/strong>, in addition to <strong>showers, a bar, food service, blankets and lockers. <\/strong>It is also home to a <strong>nurse\u2019s office and an automated external defibrillator<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Desfibrilador_externo_autom\u00e1tico\">AED<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>The staff there will be able to provide you with informationon the route conditions<\/strong>. You can use their website to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alberguesyrefugios.com\/larenclusa\/\"><strong>Make a booking<\/strong><\/a>: remember that the refuge is fully booked for some days in the summer. Get ahead of the crowd and make sure you have a place to stay.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alberguesyrefugios.com\/larenclusa\/#gallery-webcam-refugio-1\"><strong>Check the conditions on the mountains thanks to its two webcams.<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alberguesyrefugios.com\/larenclusa\/montanasegura\">Check the condition of the routes<\/a>to and from the refuge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are going to spend the night at the refuge, remember that you <strong>must takea sleeping bag<\/strong> (blankets are available).<\/p>\n<p>The refuge is co-managed by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fam.es\/\">Aragonese Mountaineering Federation<\/a> (FAM), the <a href=\"http:\/\/cec.cat\/\">Centre Excursionista de Catalunya<\/a> (CEC) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.benasque.es\/\"><strong>Benasque Town Council<\/strong><\/a>.
