Instead, you will have to pay attention to the <strong>stone markers<\/strong> that will indicate the way. Once you get to <a href=\"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/otras-rutas\/\"><strong>Cresta de Llosas<\/strong><\/a>, continue first to <strong>Ib\u00f3n Baixo de Corones<\/strong> lake (2,630 m, 1 hr and 10 min), before heading north-east to the <strong>Altos de Coronas<\/strong> lakes (2,740 m, 30 min).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/visor.montanasegura.com\/ruta\/ficha\/308\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Download the track and the map of this route.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>circo de Coronas<\/h4>\n<p>Once you have reached the <strong>Altos de Coronas<\/strong> lakes, keep to the left of the glacial moraine until you reach the base of <strong>Collada de Coronas<\/strong>(3,208 m, 1 hr and 25 min). Before you reach the mountain, you must first climb up a crack in the rock, a task that can be complicated if there is snow on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>At <strong>Collada de Coronas<\/strong> the southern route joins up with the <a href=\"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/ruta-norte\/\"><strong>route up the north face,<\/strong><\/a>which starts at L<strong>a Besurta<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/la-renclusa\/\"><strong>La Renclusa<\/strong><\/a> refuge<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Depending on the time of year, you may not find snow until you reach <strong>Collada de Coronas<\/strong>, but this marks the point where you enter <a href=\"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/el-glaciar-del-aneto\/\"><strong>Aneto Glacier<\/strong><\/a>, so you must now equip and use your <a href=\"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/piolet-y-crampones\/\"><strong>crampons, ice axe<\/strong><\/a><strong>and helmet<\/strong>. Do not continue to the glacier if you do not have this material with you or if you are not trained in its use. Hire the services of a <a href=\"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/los-guias\/\"><strong>mountain guide<\/strong><\/a> to help you if this is the case.<\/p>\n<p>From <strong>Collada de Coronas<\/strong> (3,208 m) you will climb the steepest part of the glacier up to the <strong>sub-peak<\/strong> and, once there, up to the <strong>summit of Aneto<\/strong> (3,404 m, 40 min).<\/p>\n<h4>Puente de Mahoma<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/puente-de-mahoma\/\"><strong>Puente de Mahoma<\/strong><\/a> is the final obstacle that you must overcome before reaching Aneto. It is a narrow and exposed horizontal section where you have to climb up some rocks. During the final few metres, you may experience a <strong>feeling of queasiness<\/strong>; however, do not continue if you are afraid of heights. The amount of people on the pass and accumulated exhaustion may affect your safety while there.
