{"id":65,"date":"2017-05-03T14:10:33","date_gmt":"2017-05-03T13:10:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/?page_id=65"},"modified":"2022-08-02T13:57:37","modified_gmt":"2022-08-02T12:57:37","slug":"entrena-en-el-valle","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/en\/entrena-en-el-valle\/","title":{"rendered":"Train in the valley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Climbing Aneto is a <strong>demanding high-mountain activity<\/strong> andas such, it is not suitable for those taking their first foray into the world of high mountaineering. <strong>If this is your first time climbing a mountain with a height greater than 3,000 metres, please take into consideration the following<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The huge distance you will have to <strong>climb (1,500 metres)<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Basically the entire journey passes through <strong>high-mountain terrain<\/strong>, where <a href=\"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/progresion-y-senalizacion\/\">progression<\/a> is difficult and the lack of <a href=\"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/progresion-y-senalizacion\/\">signposts<\/a> makes it complicated to follow the correct trail.<\/li>\n<li>In order to reach the summit, you will need to <strong>take with you and know how to use technical equipment, such as<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/piolet-y-crampones\/\">an ice axe and crampons<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you think that you are not fit enough or that you do not have sufficient high-mountain experience to safely climb this mountain, you can take part in some activities in <a href=\"https:\/\/anetoseguro.com\/valle-de-benasque\/\">Benasque Valley<\/a> during the days prior to your excursion so that you can evaluate whether you are sufficiently prepared to tackle Aneto.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few activities that are <strong>less physically and\/or technically demanding<\/strong> that you can try in order to find out if you are prepared and to <strong>prepare yourself<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Activities for preparing yourself and training<\/h4>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;
